Meet the Team

The Black Family

In 2022, our family stepped into a calling that would transform our lives. We left the United States—where we lived as a farming, homesteading family—to follow God’s direction to Zambia. Back home, we were deeply rooted in local community, church, and agriculture, raising our own goat dairy, cultivating a large vegetable garden, preserving food, and butchering—committed to producing healthy, sustainable food from the land around us. That foundation prepared us in unseen ways for the tasks God was bringing our way.

Denver, husband and father, is a Regenerative Agronomist whose life’s work is centered on restoring land, strengthening farmers, and building systems that bring lasting abundance. His calling from God led our family to Zambia with a clear mission: to serve people through agriculture while sharing the truth and hope of the Gospel. His passion is not only to improve farming practices, but to walk alongside others in a way that fosters both physical and spiritual growth.

Founders

Amber, wife and mother, carries a deep love for people and community. With a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Worksite Wellness, her passions span children, education, music, culture, and holistic health. She invests deeply in nurturing environments where people—especially children—can grow, learn, and thrive. Her heart is to cultivate both well-being,  joy, and God-given purpose in everyday life.

Together, they are raising four children (Gabriel, Boaz, Jane, and Charlotte) whom they homeschool. Moving to Zambia at the pivotal ages of 15, 13, 12, and 10, each child experienced a significant cultural shift during formative years. What could have been overwhelming has instead become a powerful season of growth—learning to know Jesus more deeply while discovering who they are and how they are uniquely wired to serve.

Their passions are diverse and growing: photography and media, aviation, farming and agriculture, mechanics, education, culinary arts, and music—lots of music. Each of them is developing skills that reflect both their upbringing and the new world they’ve stepped into, shaped by hands-on experience and a life lived on mission.

As we grow in grace together, our vision is simple but powerful: to follow where God leads, meeting real needs through practical service while cultivating Gospel-centered relationships. We are committed to building a culture rooted in the Kingdom of God—one that encourages local leadership and church, discipleship, resilience, and lasting transformation.

This was more than a move. It’s a mission. And it’s only just beginning.
